The well-Verlag has published in June 2010, a beautiful book of the successful author Tracie Peterson. This 302-page, hardback book has me by the selfsame Publisher kindly provided to it to write a review.

Lydia Gray is a 28-year-old girl who in the 19th Century grows. Age of 16 she was forced into marriage by her father and indeed the meanest man in their town. All the years of marriage, she and the four children from his first marriage, harassed and beaten. But that is now over. That on a coach accident was not just her unloved husband, but her father died. Lydia realizes how she can finally rid of him. But now you stand in the way her step-children who want to get rid of not only the step-mother, but especially the older sons, all assets will claim. After the will was opened, is a clear quick. To a provision which connects the factories of her husband and father, all assets will pass the two on Lydia.

This fact makes Lydia's life not only to hell, but they must also fear for their lives.
To protect themselves from the hatred of the step-children, she wants to leave everything to the children and move far away. When I first saw the cover of the book on the publishing side, I was immediately curious about the contents of the book. We see an attractive woman, dressed in the fashion of the 19 Century and a fiddle head, in front of a beautiful landscape background. In fact you could skip the book description, because the cover already told part of the story.

Also Tracie Peterson has already accumulated a significant fan base with her and can already written over 80 books, she has described life stories from around the world. Lydia's story is also very compassionate. Constantly bullied by her husband, ever beaten without having made a mistake. Even many miscarriages she had to suffer. The breaks they thereby breaking to Alaska, is therefore not in question. Of course she has a big problem to engage in the kind and caring Kjell, because she met the man's world only as a tyrant.
But with her aunt, she feels at home.

What I like not that the book is the constant appearance of God. Although I recognize that it had at this time of great importance and perhaps for the author, but unfortunately through all the "God question" frequently the essence of the story easily explained. Which in turn for the better of the book, the entire historical remarks and presentation of the rating between "whites" and the "Indians" are. The whole story never loses its tension and is fluent in written that you can not tear myself away from the book. So who was fun to read sad, but at the same time romantic life stories that should be "Before it is morning," not to be missed.
