The girl Summer with the strawberry blond hair was pulled half years ago from the rubble of a house. When she woke up she had no memories more and did not even its name. Summer became restless, moved from city to city. She tried as an actress in a small theater in Maymara and calls itself to match its role as a summer girl, Summer. It attempts to build a life and manages to be almost happy again, had not their past here and the questions about their lives, their identity. Summer every night has the recurring dream of a man who seeks to take her life. When the blood man one day to the reality on the Summer and is attacking them, the nightmare begins in the first place.
Terrified, she decides to escape and meets the mysterious and angelic beautiful Anzej know that seems to be on the flood. Anzej Summers does not speak language, but she sees in him an ally and flees with him. Together the two manage to escape from the city and make with the ship on its journey to the far north country, where there is a cruel war.

"ash Heart" was my first book by German author and I must say that Nina Blazon definitely belongs to this book to my favorites. At that time I had never dared approach to their volumes of "Faunblut" because I doubted that the stories are something for me. This I will think about this band very well. At the very beginning I had my difficulties with the story because the reader is immediately thrown into the action, but the author writes in such a beautiful light, "spring-like" style that any reader, regardless knows whether their books or not, is drawn into its spell. Summers world very similar to our world and yet it is completely different. It is an imaginative world with creatures and peoples such as chimeras, animals and runners Tandraj.
the reader groping for a long time in the dark along with Summer and so glad you all the more compressed than their history and we learn more about Summers past. One trembles literally, as Summer, must admit that they, too, a large debt with them that, when they ultimately must live with the consequences and implications.
Nina Blazon created a wonderful world in which love and death play a very important role. The theme of her death was treated with so much feeling that the idea has arisen here that a kiss on the dying finally gives peace, really very beautiful. I can recommend the book to anyone away from the vampire and angel literature, in a pleasant language wants an extremely credible and touching love story read.
