The Belgian police have been collected on Thursday at a major blow to the Kurdish liberation movement. About 300 part with assault masks masked officers stormed into the offices of the Denderleeuw Roj TV.
The Belgian police have carried out early Thursday morning, a comprehensive crackdown on Kurds. Among other things, they raided the studios of the Kurdish TV station Roj TV in Denderleeuw in the province of East Flanders.
The raids took place in Denderleeuw, in Brussels and the Walloon cities Verviers, Namur and Charleroi.
The Kurdish satellite station sends many of its programs of Denderleeuw, but also has studios in other European countries, for example in Denmark.
